The Slaughterhouse

Digital banner illustration inspired by the song Slaughterhouse, off Motionless in Whites' 2023 album Scoring the End of the World. This CD would be just for the track and is designed with the lyrics in mind.
This song tackles the criticism of capitalism, exploitation of the working class, economic inequality, and calls for resistance or retribution against oppressive systems and the elite who benefit from them. I found the lyrics and messages to be very inspiring and graphic in a way that frankly is sorely lacking from other artists today. It moved me to create these visual depiction's of its imagery and message. Showing how wealthy capitalist pigs use their fortune and power to oppress and control the working class.

My take on Single Art for the track previously mentioned. This CD would be just for the track and is designed with the lyrics in mind. Added Typography and collage elements to the original banner Illustration, making it fit for the scale and size of CD and CD case.
The illustrations and graphic design done digitally in Procreate and Photoshop. Using my preferred punk collage style digital design to add the Track title, Band logo, and other essential information. Slaughterhouse typography designed by me. Band logo and title is owned by the original copyright holder, used in fair use.
